Cheetah Research Project The cheetah is Africa’s fastest cat and may reach speeds of up to 120 km/h over very short distances. Visitors are taken on an educational tour of the King Cheetah breeding programme, where these exceptional creatures were rescued from extinction in South Africa. Visitors can view other endangered African wildlife. Elephant Sanctuary Guests are guided in small groups on foot through the sanctuary. Guides provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. Visitors are introduced to the elephants in the forest area, where they may be able to touch and interact with them.
