Ray’s Towing (Pty) Ltd was started in 2004 by Ray Langman who has over 20 years experience in the towing and recovery industry. His mission is to establish sound business relationships with his clients. This will be achieved through trust, integrity, professionalism and personal involvement. Our staff is experienced and receive continuous training to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.

We aim to provide a personal and professional service without compromise by Identifying, Anticipating and Satisfying the agreed need of the customer, both now and in the future.
We will ensure that at all times we conduct ourselves in an honest, respectable and professional manner which will earmark us as a reputable company within our industry.
Towards the end of 2023 we started looking at expanding
our business using the same values and principals that had made
Ray’s Towing successful. Ray’s Towing Free State (Pty) Ltd was born in January 2024 and we opened a Branch In Bloemfontein.
We partnered with Shawn and Sanet Hughes in Bloemfontein as they
have the same passion, experience and professionalism that made
Ray’s Towing a successful business. Shawn was born in Bloemfontein and into the towing industry.
Shawn’s Family had Malarnie Breakdowns in Bloemfontein and he grew up in the industry. Shawn has a lifetime of experience and
has the same visions as Ray and together they will ensure continued success and commitment to our customers.

Last on to bed, first one to rise.
The lack of sleep apparent through bloodshot eyes.
The phone rings again, I'm off in a flash,
a jumpstart, a tow or really bad crash.
Another busy day. Don't know when I'll be done.
And to think when I started I thought this was fun.
A recovery with snatch blocks, a truck on its side.
The stress just mounts, but I keep it inside.
What's your ETA they ask as I take another call.
Remember you're needed I tell myself.
People depending on me for help.
So no matter how bloodshot my eyes may be
I always remember someone needs me.
My kids running out to greet me.
They help me realise my purpose for towing
and remind me that I really love towing.
